Coarse and fine coffee - great coffee & fine place

Shout out to coffee lover and OOTD addict out there! If you happen to be in Serpong area, Coarse and Fine is a place that you must visit because they serve great coffee and the place is very homy and luxurious.

This coffee shop takes place in two stories shophouse in Alam Sutera. The ground floor decoration is just like other coffee shop, with coffee bar and few tables occupying it. However when we get to the second floor, we felt like entering a different place. Its like a big luxurious apartment, with living room complete with big sofa and TV, and a big wooden dining table and bench.

For our visit here, Ms.Button is wearing a rather formal outfit of blazer and culotte pants. With her outfit, she wants to highlight that this place is perfect for having work meetings during weekdays.

In the second floor there are also collections from a designer, Dee Perwata, showcased. We can't help but to try out the glasses and take pictures with it 😉.

Moving on to the food and beverage, this place serves serious coffee, which is not a surprise because the owner/barista, Kevin Perwata, is actually one of a renowned barista in town as he just won 2nd place of Western region barista championship. Here is what we ordered :

• Hot latte : there are two kind of beans present, the fruity and strong. Mr.Bacon opted for the fruity one. The latte is very good with right thickness of the foam, and it actually tastes sweet enough without adding sugar. Love it!
• Iced chocolate : there are few type of choco beans that we can pick from and Ms.Button choose the Lampung chocolate where a hint of banana taste is present. 

 

• Choux : we love it because it's an old-fashioned choux with cream. Nothing fancy, but it just cooked right and the most important thing, eating this choux brings back a lot of our childhood memory (guess how old we are ? 😜) 

 

All in all, we really like coarse and fine coffee for the coffee and the decoration. Mr. Bacon's rating for this place F&B is 4 bacon which is BACONLY GOOD. For you coffee lover and OOTD addict, it's really worth the drive to come here.
