One morning at Kopi Kalyan

It was one lazy morning that bacon and button decided to chill at a relatively new coffee shop, Kopi Kalyan in Cikajang, South Jakarta. The moment we set foot inside this place, we feel like we are in a different world because the interior was so calming and homy. The place is quite big, with a large space for seating in the indoor area, and two semi-outdoor smoking area.

At the bar there is some eye catching ornaments, such as the "Kopi Kalyan" neon box, and there is a display of their takeaway cups on which cute phrases are written.

 

 

Because it was in the late morning around 10am and we felt that it was just too close to lunch time, we just ordered drinks : iced americano and strawberry banana juice, along with double chocolate cookies for nibble, all for Rp 92.000 which we think is very reasonable. 

After we finish ordering, we go straight to the smoking area. As we have mentioned before, here there are two smoking areas, but we picked the one on the front, because it is more spacious, and we think the lighting is better for taking picture (good for OOTD pics 😆😆😆😆). 

While waiting for our orders to come, we take some pictures of Ms Button who was wearing a semi casual outfit that day, a white-one shoulder blouse and wide leg-ankle jeans, paired with her favorite boots. To finish her style, Ms button wears a chain bracelet, rings, and her favorite sunglasses. The latter was not purely for style, she needs it because it was a very sunny and hot morning😜.

When our orders come, we were so thirsty so that we took a quick picture and finish the whole thing in a blink. Here is what we think about them :

• Iced Americano : The coffee is not too strong which is to Mr Bacon's liking
• Strawberry Banana Juice : well balanced between the strawberry and banana, also not too sweet which Ms Button think is very refreshing
• Double Chocolate cookies : Texture is semi soft, chocolate is quite strong which is GOOD (who doesnt like chocolate anyway 😋😛), sweetness is just right. 

All in all, it was a very good visit. Mr bacon rating for this place F&B is 4 bacon out of 5, which is BACONLY GOOD. Also Ms Button thinks that semi casual outfit is just the perfect style for this undemanding, chill, laidback place.
